Dear friends, April 10, 2018 I finished this private commission art piece last week. I definitely needed to get it done before our holiday to San Diego. There’s nothing worse than coming back to a project and trying to pick up where you
Dear Friends, March 6, 2018 Each year I choose a "Word to Accept". I've done this exercise since I started creating art over six years ago. Over these years, I have given a lot of thought to the choice of this short or long word. It seems like a simple thing....choose a word and get onto the next item on the agenda. But in actuality, it is like having a strategic plan; in art, in life, and in business. This one word encapsulates what I'm trying to achieve for a particular time frame....you could almost think of this word as a mantra. I start with five words. I mull them over in my mind over a span of weeks and gradually discard the words that do not resonate with me and I finally select what I believe to be the right word for the present time. The word I choose this year is "CREATE".
Dear Friends,

One of the things I find most interesting is to the experience of capturing a physical bricks and mortar building in a painting for a client.
For this person has a story to tell. Each time he/she views the final painting, these memories associated with the bricks, pavement or landscape illicits this deep connection.
Dear Friends, August 10, 2017 This was our dog Alue. I didn't post anything about her passing in April as I was too upset and my thoughts hadn't set in about our loss. We put her down due to a mass of cancer in her stomach. For a beagle, this is a death sentence as ALL they want to do with their noses is sniff out the next morsel and look for food to eat.
Dear Friends, May 31,2017 Everyone is so crazy busy these days. I often think that technology is a hindrance, not a help and is making our lives frantic with all the pressures of posting on social media platforms. Although its a necessary part of the workplace, I find it ever more increasingly important to take time to do the things, hobbies and activities I actually LOVE.
Dear Friends, May 24, 2017 It`s been awhile since posting so I thought I would show-off my flower painting we will use in next weekend`s Acrylic Experimental Workshop. We will be reviewing many advantages of using Acrylic mediums and additives while painting. Once you understand the properties behind some of the mediums, it will open up a wide variety of ideas in your painting. If you have ever wanted to learn more about acrylics, this workshop will be for you.
I guess that is why I relate to them on a deep level
Dear Friends, January 10, 2017 On the weekend, I was Downtown Medicine Hat to do some shopping and went into a local store. We chatted about my recent art-show at the Cypress Club (no mention that they liked the show ) and
