Kilns are a mainstay of the Medicine Hat landscape, and show the significance of the industrial boom in the early development of the town. In this artwork, I wanted the kilns to show off their bright RED colour

Dear Friends, This is the time of year when you automatically start to reflect on the past year and plan for the new year. I can't complain about 2016 in terms of art growth. When I reflect on the events of the year, it amazes me how my "word of the year" actually ends of matching my art-making process. If you recall, my word this year is "Expansion". I have expanded my reputation of being a Medicine Hat artist, but didn't achieve my goal of gallery representation or a public gallery show outside of Medicine Hat. So, guess what I'll be working on this year?
